The “Elder" Group was incorporated in the year 1983 by our late  Founder & Chairman Mr Jagdish Saxena, and started operations in the year 1988.

Over the next 20-25 years, the Elder Group grew and became one of India’s leading pharmaceuticals companies, through its flagship company “Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd” and its OTC division “Elder Health Care Ltd.”

Elder is known in the Indian Pharmaceutical market for launching innovative, first time in India, concept brands like “Shelcal”, a combination of Calcium Carbonate & Vitamin D3, the pioneer brand in the treatment of Osteoporosis, “Eldervit-12", -India’s leading Multivitamin injection, “Carnisure”, a leading L-Carnitine product, and “Chymoral”, a proteolytic enzyme having combination of Trypsin-Chymotrypsin, amongst others.

Over the years Elder established itself as a leading player in India in the categories of woman health care, wound management and multivitamins/ nutraceuticals.

A few years ago, Elder underwent re-structuring to once again evolve as a leading Pharmaceutical / OTC/ Ayurvedic player.

The Elder Group now re-invents itself and re-focuses its energies through its company- "Elder Projects Limited" a company incorporated in 1985.

 

Elder Projects is dedicated to providing high-quality branded and generic medicines worldwide. Our key focus for branded formulations is in the Nutraceuticals / Multivitamins and Dermatology segments, with key brands such as "Eldervit Inj' & "Eldervit ZC", an innovative combination for Diabetes. 

Our generic portfolio consists of over 700 formulations covering most major therapeutic categories.

In the next 5 years, the focus and aim of "Elder Projects Limited" is to re-establish itself in the Indian & International Pharmaceutical market as a leading Pharmaceutical /OTC /Ayurvedic company.
